Profile: 

Professor Carrell-Smith is a public historian specializing in late 19th and early 20th century American social history, and community history. She has experience in museum work with Delaware’s Hagley and Winterthur Museums, as well as the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History, and has served as a consultant for Lehigh Valley museums. Her recent work has included collaborating on two oral history-to-theater projects, and an exhibit at the Hunterdon Art Museum in Clinton, NJ. She is also the director of the Community Fellows Program at Lehigh (http://cas.lehigh.edu/casweb/content/default.aspx?pageid=959).
